Dora i Liam skoro zvanični!



Pisao sam o mogućim Nokijinim telefonima, naslednicima E65 i hibridu "N" i "E" serije, Nokia Dori i Liamu, odnosno E66 i E71. Prošli su meseci bez ikakve zvanične najave ili bilo kakvih indicija za to, i taman kad su ljudi počeli da ih zaboravljaju, oni postaju (skoro) zvanični! Naime, Open Mobile Alliance je izdala UAProf (User Agent Profile) i za E66 i za E71, što znači da ih vrlo malo deli od zvaničnog predstavljanja od strane Nokije. UAProf je XML fajl sa specifikacijama user agent-a telefona. Iz njih se vidi da će oba telefona biti zasnovana na Symbian 9.2 platformi, imaće QVGA rezoluciju ekrana, i podržavaće UMTS i HSDPA, a takođe će biti opremljeni i WiFi-jem. I jedan i drugi će imati kameru rezolucije 3.2 Mpx.

Nokia E71 to be announced tomorrow?



A rumor on the street is that the Finnish giant will be announcing its long awaited E71 smartphone tomorrow. The upcoming device builds on top of its predecessors, the E61/E61i models, and has everything the mentioned two smartphones lacked. Aside from the full QWERTY-keyboard, there's a built-in GPS, better 3.2 megapixels camera, more available RAM, smaller form factor, and the new version of Symbian S60 (3.2). In short, this is one device to look forward to. As a matter of fact, I would call it the best Nokia smartphone — it combines all the multimedia features of the Symbian/S60 platform with business friendly look and feel in a small package.

Let's hope the blogosphere knows what it's talking about and that tomorrow will see the E71 hitting Nokia's press pages. Stay tuned…

New details on Nokia E71 and E66

Recently, several good quality pictures of the new Nokia E71 and E66 appeared. As far as specifications go, the information is scarce and only a few facts are revealed. Both will have a 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi, and 128 MB of internal storage.

Nokia E71 is the successor of E61i, with similar design, but slimmer body (10mm instead of 14mm). With that said, it uses QWERTY keyboard as a primary input source, but it has received a slight improvement over the one found on its predecessor. The keys are a bit bigger and closer together, and the space button is twice the size. The battery cover is now made of stainless steel (like the one on E51), above which is situated the autofocus camera with flash. On one of the side view pictures is shown a 2.5 mm headphone jack and a speaker grill at the bottom, this hints that it may possibly have stereo speakers. A GPS folder is shown on the screen, but it is yet unknown if the phone will have a receiver integrated or will be able to use external one only.

Nokia E66 is the successor of the E65, with similar slider design, but the keypad on its front is completely flat. From what we know, the device feels “rugged and solid”, which accents on Nokia aims for improved build quality.

The phones aren’t official yet, but it is rumored that E71 may be announced Today.

Uskoro ćemo saznati. E71 se pojavio na Nokia sajtu. Očekuje se početak prodaje ako već nije počela. Display nije ni čitavih 2.4" tako da se već nazire šta je uskraćeno...

I jedan i drugi sa preko 70 MB RAM-a... lepo

Ne bi bilo loše pomenuti i Nokia 5320 XpressMusic, po meni izuzetno lep telefon, a neće biti ni skup - najavljena cena je 220 evra! A telefon spada u nove FP2 uređaje, i ima čak 85 MB slobodnog RAM-a.

Da, jasno je da je uskracen display... Ali ono sto mene tjera u razmisljanje da nabavim E71 jeste mocna baterija (1500 mAh).
