An Intelligent Talking Clock

How often do you wish you could be notified of the time, only to find yourself in a difficult situation?

You could be caught up at work or busy driving your car or reading an important news story in the paper or just too lazy to look at your alarm clock.

It can happen to the best of us. This is where SmartClock factors in.

As the name suggests, SmartClock is an intelligent talking clock that can read out the current time without ever requiring a keypress, using your S60 3rd Edition phone's built-in text to speech-engine.

Once you have SmartClock up and running, whenever you wish to know the current time, simply switch to the SmartClock window and it will read out the time for you automatically. It's as simple as that.

On the other hand, if your phone is a bit out of reach (say, on a bedside table) and yet you wish to know the time after every half hour or so, just specify a delay (in seconds), and SmartClock will continue updating you with the time without fail, after the delay you have specified earlier.

Valid values for the delay can include anything -- from as little as 10 seconds to an entire day! Further details are provided in the Help section of SmartClock   


There are two working modes at the moment, actually it can read time by two unique ways:
Whenever it is brought into the foreground
After the user has specified a time delay

The best part is that SmartClock, apart from being completely free, is fully configurable and doesn't require any extra keypresses to work.

Mandelbrotovi fraktali na s60 platformi



Sigurno ste svi čuli za fraktale, kompjuterski generisane slike (često to biva rekurzivno, mada može i po neiterativnim algoritmima), veoma atraktivnog izgleda. Ako niste, konsultujte se sa omiljenim pretraživačem i naćićete mnogo primera. Usled atraktivnosti fraktalne slike su popularne kao screensaveri i slično. Jedan od popularnijih algoritama delo je matematičara Mandelbrota, koji je i uveo termin "fraktal". Do sada je postojalo puno implementacija bilo u vidu java apleta ili na neki drugi način, a sada je pred nama i Python skripta koja uvodi fraktale u s60 svet. Nema neku praktičnu primenu, ali je jako lepo posmatrati ih, pogotovo na hadrverski snažnijim telefonima. Get Rid of Unwanted and Harassing Phone Calls

Unwanted phone calls can be one of the most stressful and frightening invasions of privacy a person experiences. Fortunately, there is freeware solution that can help you to put an end to these unwelcome disturbances.

My friend Damian who is by far one of the most talented developers I have ever seen has been busy again and brought to us a new, simple, but yet useful and easy to use freeware application.

I've been testing it for the past few days and now we are finally ready to share StopCall with the publicand to hear your initial impressions.

Damian will keep working on application depending on your feedback and suggestions.

Anyway, StopCall is the classic call filter application, simple and convenient tool for blocking and rejecting unwanted incoming calls. StopCall is especially practical when you are busy or you have some important meetings or maybe you have romantic dinner at an elegant restaurant and you don’t want to be interrupted by a phone call from ex-girlfriend :]

The set-up is very simple, and you will get rid of all the unwanted incoming calls in just few steps. It only has the "black list" and you can add numbers manually or by selecting it from the phone book. There is an also option to reject the private/hidden numbers and even to reject all incoming calls.    

So all you have to do is to add the numbers on the list and send application to the background and it will terminate all unwanted calls automatically. So if there is someone you just don't want to hear from, let StopCall to keep that person OFF your phone. I highly recommend it for people who want to get rid of unwanted calls!   

To get it to work you have to install latest Python version
It is also high suggestible to install application and Python
in the phone's memory (C: drive)

hi all!

i made this program cos i like winxp restart scheduled shutdown but i don't like it's graphics... so with this simple ui python standalone app you can restart/shutdown your phone after X minutes ora at selected date/time

EQrestart and EQshutdown are needed to work (maybe in future i'll add restart & shutdown in the script), and python obviously....

it supports hiding in background.... to stop countdown simply exit app!
